The Meskel Festival is an annual celebration in September commemorating the discovery of the True Cross by the Roman Empress Helena in the 4th Century. The big celebration happens in the main square of Ethiopian cities where people gather branches and create the largest bonfire they can.
El Totumo is an active mud volcano about one hour drive from Cartagena’s Old City. It is nicknamed the “Volcano of Youth” for the belief that the mud rejuvenates your skin.

We went to visit Iguazu Falls. A 2.7km wide network of waterfalls on the border between Argentina and Brazil. This two day trip took in both sides of the falls, in the two different countries. We couldn't help be amazed at the sheer size and power of the falls.
