After seven months of travel, we reflected on our top five experiences… here is Part Two highlighting 3 out of Five.
We went to visit Iguazu Falls. A 2.7km wide network of waterfalls on the border between Argentina and Brazil. This two day trip took in both sides of the falls, in the two different countries. We couldn't help be amazed at the sheer size and power of the falls.
Ushuaia is considered the most southern city in the world - well deserving of its nickname as “The End of the World”. Our original intention was to drop in to solely catch our cruise to Chile, but life happened and we ended up staying here for 4 nights. It is the best place we have been to in the last 6 months.
Puerto Piramides is the Patagonia “Truman Show” island. A population of ~700 people, everyone knows everyone. A truly gorgeous place to visit for not just whale watching, but to enjoy the simple life.
After two weeks of exploring vineyards in Salta (Cafayate & Molinos) and Mendoza (Uco Valley and Maipú), here are our top recommendations. Try to find one at a local online store near you, or better yet - fly to Argentina and visit the vineyard yourself.
