Chum is a museum and restaurant dedicated to Northern Siberia. Raw Reindeer and Bear Meat are only two items of an extensive menu.

The wikitravel page for this city frightened me with its descriptive “stay safe” section on all the ways we could get into danger. No other city in Russia had this descriptor and so instead of airbnb in the suburbs (because its apparently dangerous at night), we booked ourselves the Metelitsa Hotel near a cultural museum which continually changes its exhibits. Our hypothesis: cultural museum = safe neighborhood.
They Eat... Morocco (The Good News)
While Morocco definitely had its challenges, we had some amazing experiences which we will not forget. I would still categorize Morocco as a developing tourist destination and one you should check out now before it becomes too superficial. If you venture out of the medinas which have become tourist traps, you will discover the amazing beauty of Morocco. It is also equally important to get perspective on a place that is likely to be significantly different from where you grew up.

We enjoyed our time in Morocco, but I will not sugarcoat. It just wouldn’t be fair to you, especially if you are considering Morocco as a travel destination. Too many of my friends who heard some of our stories responded in shock: “but everything on the internet shows it to be this exotic, amazing place!” Here are the biggest challenges we experienced.
On our first day in Ethiopia, we went to meet “Lucy”, a 3.2 million old skeleton proving that this country is likely where humans originated. We also has traditional foods such as injera and kitfo. Watch the YouTube Video!
